Pacific Development Selected to Deliver Online Applications and Digital Payments for Vanuatu’s Civil Registry

Pacific Development Consulting (PDC) has been awarded a contract to design, build, and support an online application and digital payment portal for the Department of Civil Registries and Identity Management (CRIM) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The platform will enable citizens to apply for key CRIM services such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as corrections and updates, pay digitally, and track application status online.
“This project advances equitable access to essential identity services,” said Sue Robinson, Managing Partner at PDC. “Our goal is a simple experience that is secure, inclusive, and resilient, so that families can access vital documents without costly inter-island travel.”
Moving applications and payments online will reduce processing times and improve transparency. It also lowers travel burdens and brings services closer to remote communities.
PDC has partnered with Lattice Innovations on this assignment.
